David’s specialties are Estate Planning and Elder Law.  David focuses on protecting the value of clients’ estates from costly Probate expenses and estate taxes.  He also advises clients of their options for paying nursing home, assisted living and other long term care expenses, including clients’ potential eligibility for Missouri HealthNet (Medicaid).   David prepares Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Declarations as well as more complex Trusts and other instruments specifically designed to address each client’s unique  Probate, tax and long term care planning issues.

David also focuses his practice on real estate law, corporations and LLCs, civil litigation, and probate.  David has enjoyed serving as the City Attorney for Hermann, Missouri since 2004 and providing assistance to clients from the Gasconade, Warren and Montgomery County areas at the Firm’s Hermann office.

David enjoys serving his community. He is the Chairman of the St. Francis Borgia High School, Inc. Board of Directors and a member of the School’s endowment committee.  David is the past Chairman of the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Four Rivers Area YMCA, and past President of the Washington Lions Club.  David is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Bank of Washington Community Advisory Board and the Mercy Hospital Advisory Board. David resides in Washington Missouri with his wife Kim. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his sons, Jack, Kurt and Luke and his grandchildren.
